The Beijing Hao Yuan Hotel was built during the Qing Dynasty, a highlight for most foreigners staying or visiting the great city. The Prime Minister Tony Blair visited the hotel in 1999. The guestrooms in the East wing: Here you will find a framed wooden bed, carved with the picture "8 gods and goddess across the sea" (an ancient Chinese fairy tale) and a long bed-like seat (for sitting or laying during your stay) carved with plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum. These items make every guestroom very poetic and picturesque. The guestrooms in the West wing: The layout of this guestroom is simple and clean. The carved screen and fan hung on the wall make it a place of unique beauty.
